Everyday our bodies give off moisture vapour at a rate of approximately 2 ounces per hour. If the materials surrounding us in bed cannot absorb and release this moisture, thermal stress and poor quality sleep will occur. Wool is the only natural material that can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling damp, and then release the moisture into the atmosphere, resulting in a much greater quality of sleep.
The summer duvet is best for use in warmer weather months or year-round in an apartment or condo. Equivalent Grams Per Square Metre (GPSM) is 250 to 280.
