CoffeeSock filters are a reusable alternative to paper filters and nylon sacks. The nut milk filter is durable, can last a year or more, and out-perform any comparable disposable and reusable filters.
Reusable. Renewable. Economical. Simple.
SIZE:Â Fits a 64oz Mason Jar
MATERIALS:Â GOTS Certified Organic Cotton, Metal Ring
USE:Â Before first use boil filter in fresh water for 10 minutes to sanitize + preshrink. Rinse well.
Use your favourite nut milk recipe, place filter in jar and pull perimeter over the opening. Blend nut mixture and pour into the filter. Close filter and twist, wrap ring around the twisted section of the filter, and slip through the ring. Drop filter into jar. After soaking, remove filter from jar, wring out excess milk. Turn out the nutmeal and rinse filter thoroughly.
Alternatively if you want to get your milk quicker, simply fill the filter with blended nut mixture, hold over a glass jar or large glass measuring cup and use your hands to carefully squeeze fresh milk out quickly. This method is a little messier for the hands, but we find it a lot faster for times we are in more of a rush to get our fresh nut milk:) (Be careful with coconut milk as the mixture will be hot)
After use, rinse thoroughly, boil once or twice for 10 minutes, rinse until water runs clear, wring out excess water and hang to dry.
END OF LIFE:Â Remove metal ring for recycle and dispose of filter as compostable waste.
Ethically made in the USA.
